Hello! My name is Margaret Blount and I look forward to working with you -- feel free to get in touch anytime. As a St. Louis native, I've enjoyed living and working in Central Virginia with a view out my window of the Blue Ridge Mountains and a warmer climate (fewer snow days!!). I received my undergraduate degree in English from Wittenberg University and my M.A. in English and American Literature from Washington University in St. Louis.
When I'm not on Randolph's campus, I am either shuttling my two sons back and forth to after school activities, planting the latest flower/bush/herb in my garden, playing tennis or watching an episode of "Deadliest Catch" with my husband and being glad I don't fish for King Crab in the Bering Sea. I'd much rather help students like you find out more about Randolph and see what a great fit it could be if you're looking for a small college, great classes, gorgeous park-like campus, and cheering on the Wildcats.
I have loved being a part of the Randolph College and Lynchburg community for years and would be happy to help you and your family explore everything it has to offer. Hope to see you soon!
