Faculty Development Center
The mission of the Faculty Development Center is to promote excellence in teaching in the following ways:
- assisting new faculty with becoming familiar with the Randolph College community and support services available
- coordinating a mentoring program for new faculty members
- promoting the exchanging of information and expertise on various aspects of faculty development through discussions and workshops
- providing/coordinating peer teaching evaluations
- providing reference materials on faculty development topics
- fostering faculty's efforts to be the most effective teachers they can be
- keeping faculty informed of faculty development opportunities available both on and off campus
- providing funding for faculty interested in attending faculty development conferences
