Every summer four Randolph students have the opportunity to work in China for Energizer Holdings Inc., which markets a wide variety of products including batteries and personal care items. Students spend the summer working in sales or marketing offices in China, learning how to conduct themselves in international business and immersing themselves in the language.
Students who have taken three levels of Chinese and a business course can apply for the internship by March 1. Energizer provides a stipend for the accepted students.
The Energizer Internship was started in 2010 after Randolph College President John E. Klein invited company executives to the College to meet with students studying Chinese. That partnership continues to help students gain an invaluable experience.
